To connect you with vendors who are the right fit, we gather information about your wedding, including: your wedding date and timeline, venue location or preferred geographic area, estimated guest count, budget range, style preferences and vision for your celebration, specific vendor categories you're looking for (such as photographers, florists, caterers, and so on), and any special requirements or requests you share with us.
How We Collect This Information
Our matching process is personal and intentional. We collect your wedding details through one of two methods: a one-on-one consultation meeting with our team, or an audio file submission where you share details about your wedding in your own words. This approach allows us to truly understand your vision and needs, which helps us make thoughtful, accurate vendor matches. Simply filling out a form is not sufficient for our service—we believe that meaningful connections require meaningful conversations.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide for the following purposes:
Vendor Matching: Your wedding details help us identify vendors whose services, availability, style, and pricing align with what you're looking for.
Communication: We use your contact information to share vendor matches, provide updates about our service, and respond to your questions.
Service Improvement: We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve how we match couples with vendors and enhance our overall service.
3. How We Share Your Information

Your Information Stays Private Until We Find a Match
Your personal contact information is kept confidential during the matching process. We do not share your name, email, phone number, or other contact details with vendors until we have identified professionals who meet your needs in terms of services offered and availability for your event date.
Limited Vendor Sharing
Once we find vendors that match your criteria, we share your contact information with a maximum of four (4) vendors per category you inquired about. For example, if you're looking for a photographer and a florist, we may share your information with up to four photographers and up to four florists who are a good fit for your wedding.
Vendor Confidentiality Agreements
All vendors in our network are under contract with Wedding Seeker. These contracts include strict confidentiality provisions that prohibit vendors from sharing, selling, or distributing your personal information to any third parties. Your information is shared with matched vendors solely for the purpose of allowing them to connect with you about their wedding services.
We Do Not Sell Your Information
Wedding Seeker does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other reason.

If you choose to submit an audio file as part of our intake process, we retain this recording solely for the purpose of understanding your wedding needs and making accurate vendor matches. Audio recordings are stored securely and are not shared with vendors or any third parties. We may transcribe or summarize the content to facilitate the matching process.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services to you and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
